Reflections on the blog

Over the past couple of months, I personally believe that the blog has helped me learn spanish quite well. While there have been technological problems as we all to often see in the world of the internet, the fact of the matter is that blogs can be an effective linguistic learning tool. Talking back and forth with a spanish "padrina" and publishing articles is a way to learn which I have never used before. Unfortunately, my distaste for technology and the reliability of the internet someone restricts the enjoyment of this assignment and project, and given my less than stellar organisational skills, finding the original copies of my lost articles has proven tedious if not impossible. While learning with the blog must be seen as an effective tool to some extent, it ultimately leaves the largest portion of responsibility to do the work in the students, and in the internets, own hands, and whether this is a good thing or not is ultimately up to each person on an individual basis.
